RSJ FILMS is an independent television and film drama production company, founded in August 2009 by Jimmy McGovern, Sita Williams and Roxy Spencer, the creative team responsible for the award winning series THE STREET.

THE STREET, produced for BBC 1, received huge critical acclaim and consistently high audiences, delivering popular and thought provoking drama. The three series attracted Britain's finest film, television and stage talent as well as introducing many newcomers.

THE STREET won the 2007 and 2008 BAFTA and RTS Awards for Best Drama Series.  At the 2007 International Emmy Awards, the first series was awarded Best Drama Series with Oscar-winner Jim Broadbent also receiving Best Actor.
 
As well as working with Jimmy McGovern, RSJ FILMS are also collaborating with the UK’s leading writing, directing and on screen talent, to produce high quality drama for a large audience.
